As a Solution Architect at Signum, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a cross-functional, inclusive, and dynamic team consisting of product owners, user experience researchers, business intelligence people, data scientists and software engineers. You will drive the development of digital solutions that bridge the gap between industry needs and healthcare advancements. Your Impact:
- You will spearhead the modernization of our digital infrastructure, applying your expertise in microservices, cloud-native solutions, and event-driven architectures to build scalable and efficient systems.
- As the driver of our Liason portfolio, you will help clients in the pharmaceutical sector connect more effectively with healthcare professionals and their end customers the patients.
- Collaborating across teams, you will take a hands-on approach to technical challenges, building the foundation for data ingress, technical migrations, while also providing strategic guidance on system architecture and solution design.
Need to have
Education & Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or similar.
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (preferably Azure).
- Strong experience with .Net development (we use .Net 8) and microservices architecture (ASP.Net, WebAPI, Azure).
- Experience with designing cloud-native and event-driven microservices running on Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and document databases (MongoDB).
- Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for distributed and cloud-based systems.
- Proficiency in Entity Framework and code-first approaches for database schema creation.
- Proficient in microservices design and implementation, as well as developing containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in modern software engineering principles and best practices, with a solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, OOD, and DDD.
- Familiarity with asynchronous message-based communication between microservices (Kafka, Confluent Cloud).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Leadership and Solution Architecture:
- Expertise in Domain Analysis and applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with solution definition and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with microservice and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to translate conceptual and logical solution diagrams into tangible implementations.
- Proficient in business process modelling (BPMN and UML).
- Ability to bridge gaps between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Ability to lead and provide technical guidance, including code reviews, for development teams.
Security and Compliance:
- Understanding of security protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, and Microsoft EntraID.
Nice to have
Additional Frameworks/Technologies:
- Experience with DAPR, OData protocol, ASP.Net Core OData.
- Hands-on experience with Modern Data Stack, including building Lakehouse or Data Mesh architectures.
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices (Open Telemetry) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Experience in business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in life sciences.
- Experience with omnichannel strategies and their application in healthcare solutions.
Certifications and Future-Forward Design Considerations:
- Certification as an Azure Solutions Architect or other relevant cloud certifications.
- Experience with managing future-proof systems and applications built using Onion architecture.
- Ability to understand and design systems that align with future business needs, such as budgeting for room additions in applications.
Methodologies and Tools:
- Familiarity with BDD with Specflow and TDD practices.
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Delta Live Tables, Luigi, Argo).
- Additional cloud experience (AWS) and knowledge of NoSQL databases (key-value, document, graph).
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Jasmine, Jest, Cypress.
