Job summary

We are looking for a Junior UX Designer to join the Innovation & Technology team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The impact of your work will be seen in the transformation of our product portfolio, supporting the shift from a data-centric approach to user-centered design. Your profile

We seek an organized, analytical and systematic junior user researcher and UX designer with a penchant for translating user research into actionable findings, diagrams, prototypes, concepts and interfaces.

You are curious about users’ underlying problems and the industry context. You are willing to learn about the business aspects of design work as well as the business context of our customers.

Your approach design broadly and holistically and try to evaluate the implications of design decisions a few steps ahead.

Responsibilities 

Working under the guidance of more senior team members including the Design Team Lead / Senior UX Architect, you will:

  • Conduct and communicate user research to define problem space, validate user needs, concepts and solutions.
  • Support product development by iterative concept development, prototyping on various fidelity levels, hand-off ready designs and user testing.
  • Conduct and present user research on our existing products to help the organization expand its knowledge of real-world usage patterns and user needs.
  • Visualize flows, architectures and concepts using a variety of diagramming methods to effectively communicate user needs and product concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across data science, BI, development, business and commercial roles.
  • Contribute to the design system work.

Requirements

  • A portfolio demonstrating your user research and UX design skills
  • Relevant educational background
  • 1-3 years of experience in user research and UX design, preferably with data products
  • Experience conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Experience with a range of prototyping methods on low and high-fidelity levels
  • Basic understanding of data visualization principles and techniques
  • Basic understanding of development principles and hand-off
  • Effective communication skills in English; Danish is a plus
