We combine 50 years of Nordic sales data expertise, real-world patient data, market insights, value & access, analytics and strategic advisory. Following the acquisition of two Nordic companies and significant investments in technology, data infrastructure, AI and advisory capabilities, Signum is entering a new scale-up phase.

This gives us a strong platform, but also a clear next ambition: to professionalise how we develop customers, build pipeline and convert our broad capabilities into larger, more strategic client engagements.

We are now looking for a Commercial Director who can lead this next step.

This is not a traditional sales leadership role. It is a hands-on commercial growth role for someone who understands how to sell complex solutions, build commercial structure and create momentum across teams, markets and customer relationships.

The role reports directly to the Nordic General Manager and will be part of Signum’s Nordic Management Team, contributing actively to the overall strategy and direction of the company.

The opportunity

Signum has a strong market position, deep customer relationships and highly specialized capabilities across the Nordic life science sector.

Our foundation is built on market-leading Nordic sales data and long-standing customer relationships across pharma. On top of this, we are expanding our advisory, real-world evidence, market insights, value & access and analytics capabilities to help clients make better strategic and commercial decisions.

The next step is to become more systematic and ambitious in how we commercialise that position.

We want to strengthen our commercial operating model, improve pipeline discipline and build a more consistent approach to account development, forecasting, customer engagement and sales execution. We also want to make it easier for clients to access the full value of Signum across sales data, analytics, patient data, insights and advisory.

As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for building the commercial engine that enables this.

You will lead our Nordic Commercial, Business Development and Marketing organization, while working closely with our consulting, data, product and specialist teams to turn client needs into high-value projects, recurring data solutions and long-term partnerships.

Your mission is to drive sustainable and profitable growth across Signum by strengthening our commercial structure, sales discipline and ability to sell both core data solutions and complex advisory services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving profitable revenue growth across the Nordic markets
  • Leading and developing the Nordic Commercial, Business Development and Marketing organization
  • Building a stronger commercial operating model with clear roles, processes and accountability
  • Strengthening pipeline management, forecasting, account planning and conversion discipline
  • Driving a more structured approach to key account development and customer penetration
  • Supporting and challenging teams in customer dialogues, proposal development and closing of opportunities
  • Expanding customer relationships from single projects and subscriptions into broader strategic partnerships
  • Ensuring stronger collaboration across sales, consulting, RWE, NMI, Value & Access, data science, product and marketing teams
  • Commercialising new offerings within sales data, real-world data, analytics, AI and technology-enabled advisory
  • Helping shape Signum’s overall strategy as a direct report to the Nordic General Manager and a key member of the Nordic Management Team
  • Contributing actively to Signum’s strategic priorities and transformation agenda

The role requires both structure and drive. You must be able to build the system, but also be close enough to the market to help move opportunities forward.

  • Has experience selling data, analytics, consulting, advisory, SaaS-like services or other complex B2B solutions
  • Understands how to shape customer needs, develop opportunities and close larger projects

Experience from the pharma affiliate ecosystem is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. Experience with knowledge-intensive B2B sales, data products, analytics, consulting services or advisory-led commercial models is highly relevant.
